The pokemon makes a face at her and Isra is quick to return it, something that the pokemon seems unprepared for and as such almost instantly recoils at. It would seem most humans are not so willing to retaliate on their own the way she is but when she makes no move to do more neither does the pokemon.

This results is a sort of staring contest, with neither wild pokemon nor human being entirely willing to walk away from the other without seeing the other give first. Isra has much of the night to waste still and seem content to glare down at the thing with a scrunched up face and wait for it to get out of her way.

And if it doesn't relent she might just left her hydreigon chase it away, on second thought that's the perfect idea.

It hangs lazily off the branch of a tree and Isra catches sight of it only because it yawns.

Eyes stare at it dead on for a moment before leaving it there.

She has never understood the appeal of such pokemon and chooses not to engage with it. Regardless of what merits it may have she has no interest in finding out what they are. Her walk along the path is of much greater interest, the thoughts in her head more important to sort out.

Not that she's making any progress there either.

It saunters out onto the path before her and Isra is smitten.

She can't help but think the pokemon pairs perfectly with her dress, a lovely charcoal grey to match the season but to not be too much of a contrast to her pale skin. Perhaps the pokemon thinks the same as it steps into line beside her as she walks past, looking down at it and watching. She's not eager to ruffle that perfect fur or otherwise leave it any worse off than it was when she found it.

The pokemon follows her with a prim little meow, the two of them seem like they would already be together. When Isra sits on a rock to think to herself about all the things that have been on her mind again the pokemon jumps up onto her lap and poises itself perfectly for attention. Her fingers sit behind its ear for awhile, slowly making her way down the pokemon's back and it purrs in delight.

It seems only natural to press the pokeball against its side, and the pokemon does not resist.
